How do your cooking classes work?
Sapori d'Italia offers hands-on cooking classes at our three locations. We provide ingredients, recipes, any music and necessary equipment. All classes encourage hands on involvement. Participants will work in groups to execute recipes. If you prefer to only work in a group with people you know, we recommend attending with three others to make a group of four. Once everything is ready, we get to sit down and eat everything we've worked on and discuss our triumphs and travails. Fun is encouraged to the maximum. Public classes are typically held Monday through Saturday.

We're also proud to offer private classes here or in the comfort of your own home/facility where we bring everything we need to conduct a class for an individual, a couple or even a group in your home or adequate facility. All fees, for both private in-home instruction and classes in our kitchen, are due one full week prior to your scheduled class date, along with the correct number of individuals attending the class.

Do I need special equipment for these classes?
Sapori d'Italia's kitchen has all of the latest appliances, cookware and utensils, so there will be nothing necessary to bring. All we ask is that you wear closed toe shoes for your own safety, and comfortable, but not loose, clothing.

If we come to you for a private class, we will provide any unusual equipment necessary to complete the class. After a brief phone or email discussion, we can determine the needed equipment we should bring for your class.

What's included in your cooking class?
Sapori d'Italia will provide the best ingredients, recipes, and instruction. Some class materials will be available for purchase, like our wine glasses, cutting boards, or nifty aprons. There will always be plenty of food to eat, so come hungry. All of our classes are BYOB and we do not charge a corking fee. We have bottled water available and also soft drinks for sale.

How much do your cooking classes cost?
For the most up to date price and to understand how much the majority of our classes cost, it’s best to look above. This list shows the most current pricing. Many of our classes cost no more than a decent dinner out, some even less. Pricing is based on the length of a class and, most importantly, the type of ingredients involved in the class. More expensive cuts of meat or seafood tend to cost more, but produce a better meal and experience.

How do I register for classes?Whether you are purchasing a class for yourself, for someone else, you must Create an Account. After creating your account, choose a class that interests you and works with your schedule, then click "Sign Me Up."

Can I request a special class/menu for my private class?Absolutely! The private classes were designed with this in mind. We know some of you have special diets or concerns. We really try to please, so if a special diet is something we can incorporate in any of our classes, we will be happy to do this. Please be sure to call and email us explaining your diet constraints and we will make a note in our roster for that date.

What do I need to bring to the class?
Sapori d'Italia provides all of the necessary food items to conduct the class. You will be able to see and print recipes from within your account, 48 hours prior to the scheduled class. It is not necessary to bring them unless you would like to take notes. Simply bring yourself and your willingness to have fun and learn. We will recommend a wine/beer for you to bring to your class.

How much food do I get to eat in class (should I come hungry)?Sapori d'Italia knows that working with food makes one hungry! That's why we like to make sure there's plenty of food available for everyone to try. In our cooking classes, tasting is always encouraged. So, yes, come hungry! Most classes involve an appetizer or something you make that you can eat within the first 45 minutes of the class. All of the main meals are typically ready within 2 hours into the class.

What about alcohol?Sapori d'Italia does not provide any alcohol for most of these classes, unless it is part of a tasting menu class. We encourage our clients to bring a bottle of wine or other preferred beverage to enjoy with your creations. We do have bottled water and soft drinks available for purchase.

What is your cancellation policy? We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for our public classes and there are no exceptions. If you cannot attend and you are within the 48-hour window before the class, you are more than welcome to send someone else in your place. Otherwise, you will forfeit your seat completely. If the class is full and we have persons on the waiting list, we may be able to notify those on the waiting list to take your place. Please note that the closer to the class time you contact us, the harder it will be for us to fill that seat through the waiting list.

We do not issue refunds, only credits towards other classes. Thus, if you do cancel 48 hours before the class, we keep your credit on file for you to use at a later date more to your convenience. This credit never expires.

Payment for classes is in USD Currency.
